Teambuilding across the globe

Multicultural teams are nowadays reality for most of the German companies. Language barriers, leading over (spatial) distance, different work and management styles or other cultural misunderstandings often lead to conflicts and frustration. On the other hand the chances and strengths of intercultural teams are often underestimated. Intercultural teams reach the top if they are able not only to accept the differences arising from different origins of team members, but to make them a source of productive energy.

Objective of the training:

The participants shall learn how they can recognize and make use of multicultural team resources and arrange resources in a positive way over long distance. Phases and organisational borders of international team building as well as techniques for targeted design of these processes are worked out. By this a deep understanding for "the other" as well as opportunities of a fruitful co-operation develop.

_ Persons, who work in or lead multicultural teams
_ Persons, who consult and coach international colleagues at home

Content:

_ Towards an intercultural co-operation in teams within four steps
_ Intercultural confidence building, agreement on objectives and commitment in international teams
_ Organising the flow of information and hierarchies in international organisations
_ Management of intercultural teams
_ Dealing with conflicts over long distance
_ Promotion of team spirit and mutual support
_ Systematic use of cultural synergies
