Business etiquette and negotiation techniques in Korea

Germany is Korea?s most important trading partner in Europe. But despite the good and brisk economic relationships between both countries existing for more than 120 years the cultural peculiarities of the country are widely unknown: "When you know Japan and China, you will get along in Korea as well…". In this training it is pointed out why this is not true. Besides exercises and elaborations of the Korean society, traditions of the work environment and business etiquette are explained. Additionally exercises on conduct of negotiations with Korean partners as well as dealing with Korean clients and employees are part of the program.

Objective of the training:
Recognizing the essential ways of thinking and values of Koreans
Experiencing how to establish and maintain long-lasting business relationships with Korean business partners
Developing a specific intercultural strategy and competence for Korea
Target group:

The training also addresses to newcomers in Korea, designated deputies and employees in sales, procurement, development or production, who would like to prepare themselves for the co-operation with the country.
